Gargunnock Waterfall Walk …….an Eventful Day

Sunday 20th May      Leader: Martin Scott Smith

A fine walk by Martin led us to the spectacular Downie’s Loup Waterfall in the in the Gargunnock Hills.

The day then became somewhat eventful as one of our members became ill…resulting in a full scale rescue by Lomond Mountain Rescue Team. A huge ‘thank you’ to them for their care and efficiency…..and to the Police and Paramedics in attendance.

Our member was taken to FVRH to be checked… and I am pleased to report was well enough to be released later in the evening.

Thanks to Heather & Richard for photos
