A bright start and warm day ending in drizzle was forecast, although, that didn’t deter an excellent turnout.  With Mike’s well-researched leadership, this did not dampen our spirits and with history, poetry and humour along the way,  the banter and laughter kept our interest focused.

10th-17th July

A fabulous week for SRC on the island of Jersey.  Wonderful walks and weather, lovely hotel and great company….made for a holiday enjoyed by all!

Monday: A great start to our week today and coastal walk led by John……..on a glorious sunshine day.   St Aubin, St Brelade Bay …. ending at Corbiere lighthouse. Endless views on this paradise for walkers.

Tantallon Castle to Tyninghame

Considering many members had family commitments today,  we managed a good turnout on a glorious day in East Lothian.    With Bass Rock, sea views, historical landmarks and long beach walks most of the day.  our 5 star refreshments of tea/coffee and scones at Tyninghame ….went down a treat.
